The narcissus is a flower in which nature’s flawless geometry meets profound mythological significance. In Latin, it is called Narcissus, and this name is inextricably linked to one of the most famous legends of Ancient Greece. According to the myth, the beautiful youth Narcissus, son of the river god Cephissus, possessed unearthly beauty but remained cold toward all who sought his love. The nymph Echo, rejected by him, turned into an invisible voice out of grief, and the goddess of retribution, Nemesis, decided to punish the youth for his pride.

One day while hunting, Narcissus bent over the mirror-like surface of a forest stream to quench his thirst and saw his own reflection for the first time. He was so captivated by this beauty that he could not tear his gaze away. The young man lingered by the water until his strength gave out, and in that spot a graceful flower grew, whose crowned cup is always bowed downward, as if it were still admiring itself in the water’s reflection. People often call daffodils “spring egoists” or “flowers of lovers,” symbolizing self-sufficiency, inner harmony, and purity of thought. In Eastern culture, this flower is valued no less: in China, it is considered a symbol of good luck. It is customary to give it as a New Year’s gift as a wish for well-being, believing that the fragrance of the narcissus attracts creative energy into the home. From a botanical perspective, the daffodil is a unique biological phenomenon. There are over 50 species and thousands of varieties: from classic trumpet-shaped to luxurious double and multi-flowered varieties. A little-known fact: these flowers possess an amazing ability to “self-heat”—their stems and buds contain substances that allow them to withstand treacherous spring frosts. The symbolism of the daffodil is multifaceted: it is not only a symbol of rebirth but also a sign of sincerity and new beginnings. To give a bouquet of daffodils is to wish someone renewal and to remind them that after every winter, dawn is sure to come. Our florists work with them according to carefully crafted original designs, creating arrangements where the fragility of the petals blends with clean, geometric lines, and their impeccable condition is ensured by direct deliveries from local fields and Dutch auctions.

For those who are thousands of miles from home, these flowers become a living bridge connecting you to your family. We understand that for people living in Austria, Sweden, the UK, or Italy, every order is a sacred act of presence. That is why we ensure complete transparency throughout the process: the florist will send a photo of the assembled bouquet right from the shop, and the courier will take pictures at the moment of delivery. Our in-house logistics service will deliver your message safely in Chisinau and Moldova at convenient delivery times. The website offers a variety of payment methods, making it easy to place an order no matter where you are in the world. Your gift will be delivered with the utmost respect, serving as a flawless and timely expression of your sincere feelings.

Care Tips from the Experts
Daffodils are flowers with a mind of their own. Their main characteristic is their allelopathy: once cut, their stems release a thick sap that can be harmful to other plants, so it’s best to place them in a separate vase. Daffodils prefer cool temperatures, but their delicate stems are sensitive to excess moisture: fill the vase with just 7–10 centimeters of clean water. This will help keep the stem structure firm and the water clear. Before arranging the bouquet, remove the lower leaves and make a clean, straight cut with a sharp knife. It is extremely important to completely change the water daily and thoroughly rinse the vase, recutting the stems by one centimeter. Keep daffodils away from direct heat and radiators to preserve their delicate fragrance for as long as possible.
