Levenhuk Nelson 7x50 binoculars
These binoculars with 50mm objectives have 7x magnification and a wide field of view that ensures comfortable observation of large objects. The higher aperture 50mm objectives gather plenty of light allowing for twilight observations.
This binocular's housing has a built-in rangefinder and illuminated compass. You can see the distance scale in the eyepieces and measure the height of the observed object or distance from it to determine its location. You need two batteries for illumination. The compass indicates the direction to the object. The division value is 1°. north is 360°, south is 180°, east is 90°, and west is 270°.
The distance measurement is used to calculate the distance to the observed object or its size. You need to know one of these parameters to calculate another, using a special formula. Place the rangefinder reading in this formula.
The optical system uses Porro prisms. Quality BaK-4 glass optics minimise aberrations and transmit a clear, saturated image. Multi-coated lenses significantly reduce light loss.
The waterproof housing is made of durable plastic and is rubberised to protect this optical instrument from accidental knocks. Nitrogen filling prevents lens fogging during rapid temperature changes. The Levenhuk Nelson 8x30 Marine Binoculars come in a water-impermeable floating body: if accidentally dropped into the water, it won't sink, the lenses and prisms won't be damaged. Add a bright Levenhuk FS10 floating strap and it will never get lost! Eyeglass wearers will appreciate the twist-up eyepieces: they will help adjust the field of vision correctly. The binoculars have individual focusing; there is no central focusing mechanism. You can mount the binoculars on a tripod for long-term observation and to avoid natural hand tremors.
